CAT 2018 - Notification, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, and Important Dates
CAT 2018 - IIM Calcutta has released the official notification of CAT 2018 on July 29. The application form of CAT 2018 will be available from August 8. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is the most competitive MBA entrance exam in India taken by nearly 2 lakh candidates every year. IIM 20 operates the CAT on rotating basis every year for entry into 20 IIMs and more than 100 B-schools across India. About 4,000 seats are offered through 20 IIMs. The CAT 2018 score card will be valid for one year only till December 31, 2019. Professor Sumata Basu will be the CAT coordinator for this year.
CAT 2018 will be conducted on November 25 in two sessions. The exam pattern this year will remain the same as last year.
CAT 2018 Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with minimum 50% marks from recognized university/college. Candidates in final year of Bachelor's Degree are also eligible to apply.CAT 2018 Exam Pattern

CAT 2018 Registration
The CAT 2018
application will be issued on August 8. The CAT registration process
is completely online, in which candidates will have to go to the
official website and click the registration tab. After filling the
registration form with original details such as name, email address
and mobile number, they will receive CAT 2018 certificate User ID and
password respectively via email and SMS. The last date for the CAT
application is September 19.

How to fill CAT 2018
Application Form
In
order to replenish the CAT 2018 form, candidates got to log in
through their user ID and password and replenish the applying type by
coming into the proper data. The CAT form 2018 is split into
following classes or sections:
- Personal Details
- Contact Details
- Academic Details
- Work Experience
- Selecting IIMs to apply for
- Selecting Test Centres and Interview Cities
After
filling up information on each page, candidates have to click on Save
& Next tab. Applicants have to upload their photograph and
signature in the given dimension. The last step is to pay the
application fee through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
CAT 2018 Application Fee
- The application fee is Rs. 1900 for General category candidates and Rs. 950 for SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
- Candidates Should Have to Pay the Examination Fee through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card.
